There are several generations in one year, overwintering as adults on kiwifruit trees, intercrops and weeds. In March of the following year, it began to cause damage, sucking the juice of young leaves with its piercing-sucking mouthparts, and mostly concentrated on the back of the leaves. The thinner the leaves, the more severe the damage. The damaged leaves show white dense small needle-like holes, and in severe cases, the leaves will fall early.
